Job Description

This role can be based in San Francisco, Mountain View, or New York.

As a Growth Product Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in driving growth at key points in the LinkedIn member journey. You’ll have the opportunity to shape experiments across marketing channels and product touchpoints to deliver the right message to the right member at the right time. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the member journey is consistent, and help members understand how LinkedIn can help them achieve their goals. You have demonstrated experience navigating ambiguity, driving clarity, and influencing strategy through to detailed execution and performance measurement.

Responsibilities 

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to grow member acquisition, engagement, retention, and winback strategies
  • Conduct agile research to influence product roadmap and build insightful perspectives on the key audiences to aid growth marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, design, and marketing teams to launch, analyze, and optimize campaigns for the best possible subscriber experience
  • Rigorously test and optimize copy, creative, and messaging to drive growth in marketing channels and in-product surfaces 
  • Build and maintain a backlog of hypothesis-driven growth experiments across web and mobile platforms
  • Collaborate with data science and marketing analytics teams on targeting, segmentation, reporting, and ad hoc analysis to ensure world-class experimentation design, driving business outcomes and informing future experiments 
  • Understand target audience segments and experience working across the member journey
  • Become a subject matter expert on our testing platform and capabilities and share and champion them across the organization by coaching, mentoring and training other marketers 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or product growth 
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • BA/ BS Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Growth mindset, curious, self-aware, and passionate about continuous improvement
  • Track record of designing, executing, and iterating A/B tests; analyzing and translating data into business and customer insights; and communicating learnings broadly to inform business strategy.
  • Great collaboration skills to connect with wide set of cross-functional teams (product management, design, and data science teams); experience building new connections quickly and working together to craft a more fully realized answer
  • Demonstrated experience operating proactively in ambiguity, self-starter who can manage through open-ended situations in a fast-paced startup environment 
  • Excellent communications skills; able to distill complex concepts into clear and concise language for senior-level management and various stakeholders
  • Experience in forecasting impact, making business trade-offs, growth channels (email, on-site ads, etc.) and consumer product marketing preferred
  • Experience testing and optimizing high-volume email campaign and push notification experiences

The pay range for this role is $75,000- $117,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
