Audience Development and Marketing Coordinator, MM+M


Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking an Audience Development and Marketing Coordinator to join the MM+M team. This position is located in our New York, NY office, with three days on-site (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a team flex day) and two days remote.


The Audience Development and Marketing Coordinator for MM+M (Medical Marketing & Media) will play a pivotal role in driving engagement, managing marketing campaigns, and facilitating audience growth across multiple channels. This position requires a strategic thinker who can manage various marketing initiatives, including audience development, event marketing, digital engagement, and subscription management. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creative and analytical skills to help enhance MM+M's brand presence and meet revenue goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee audience development, campaign strategy, and performance tracking for MM+M’s key annual initiatives, including the Agency 100, Career and Salary Survey, and Healthcare Survey, with a focus on driving engagement and paid product sales.

  • Design and optimize onboarding journeys for new subscribers and registrants, streamlining the subscription experience for MM+M.

  • Lead efforts to grow subscription numbers, managing the prospecting, renewal, and re-qualification process to ensure consistent audience retention and expansion.

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost digital engagement and increase paid subscriptions, driving MM+M’s overall growth and visibility.

  • Coordinate and deploy digital editorial editions, ensuring content is distributed effectively to engage MM+M's audience.

  • Manage media partnership barter agreements for MM+M with industry trade shows and events, ensuring successful execution of agreements to maximize brand exposure.

  • Create and manage social media content across multiple platforms, driving brand awareness and audience interaction through compelling storytelling and engagement strategies.

  • Partner with sales teams to produce marketing collateral, promotional campaigns, and targeted outreach initiatives, supporting revenue growth and client engagement for MM+M.

  • Monitor marketing campaign performance, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize strategies and achieve key performance indicators.

  • Craft visually appealing and persuasive email campaigns, from copywriting to layout design, that effectively communicate MM+M’s value proposition and foster customer loyalty.

  • Ensure timely and efficient execution of marketing plans, coordinating project schedules and meeting deadlines to achieve brand objectives.

  • Support the MM+M sales team in achieving revenue goals by assisting with client surveys and driving new revenue-generating ideas for the brand.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the media industry.

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation, with a successful track record of growing brand presence.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to enhance marketing performance.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Creative problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of search engine marketing (SEM), paid social media, and digital advertising strategies.

  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva is an asset.

  • Experience using marketing automation platforms like Eloqua, Omeda and Unity is a plus.
