About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented and driven Cloud Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions. As a key member of the Information Technology team, you will collaborate across projects to develop scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions tailored to a variety of business needs in the insurance industry.

Candidates with a background in the insurance industry are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement cloud-based data solutions using Azure technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Participate in architectural design discussions, ensuring solutions align with cloud-based best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise throughout all project phases, including analysis, design, development, and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and system testing using tools like Postman and Fiddler.
  • Work in an Agile development environment, contributing to SCRUM practices and team objectives.

Must have:

    • Working knowledge of the Azure platform & use of Azure cloud native technologies
    • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL Database, SQL, Databricks
    • Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure Active Directory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Azure API Management, SharePoint, Okta
    • 3+ years’ programming experience with JavaScript
    • At least 2+ years’ experience in development using Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus
    • Experience in developing on Agile methodology / SCRUM
    • Must have Experience in CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub)
    • 2+ years’ experience in writing Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing using tools like Postman, Fiddler etc.
    • Experience with backend databases and queuing technologies (relational/NoSQL databases, SQL functions, queries)
    • Self-directed, works with limited management direction, and exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment
    • Exceptional communication skills in working with the customer stakeholders
  • Knowledge of additional Azure tools: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Azure API Management, SharePoint, and Okta.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Developer Associate).
