What is Flagstone?

Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.

Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It’s our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.

A feel for our culture:

To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth.

That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it.

We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.

But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.

Does this sound like you?

You’re a dynamic and strategic thinking Marketing Lead with proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally within a fast growth environment, who’s excited to spearhead our new investment and expand our reach into the SME market.

What you’ll do:

As the B2B Marketing Lead, you'll oversee all marketing activities for our business-to-business and business-to-business-to-consumer strategies. You'll be responsible for planning, strategizing, and executing initiatives that enhance our value proposition for business clients and intermediated channels like financial advisers and wealth managers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee and collaborate across all marketing channels, including email, advertising, aggregator marketing, affiliate marketing, and PR, ensuring a comprehensive approach throughout the client journey, from lead generation to retention.
  • Partnership Management: Activate and manage referring partnerships to increase penetration and maximise engagement, driving partner acquisition, embedding, and adoption strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Digital Marketing, CRM, Sales, Product, UX, and Research to create and execute a strategic and measurable marketing plan.
  • Market Insight: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and partner insights to optimise marketing strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a dedicated team, guiding their daily priorities, overseeing their work, and fostering their professional development.
  • Driving Growth: Implement strategies to boost distribution, demand generation, and establish strategic partnerships, leading to enhanced brand exposure, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Brand Visibility: Execute collaborative marketing efforts to increase brand recognition, credibility, and positioning, aligning with our Brand Strategy.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish KPIs, promote a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, and manage the B2B/B2B2C marketing strategy effectively.

What you’ll bring:

  • Significant proven experience in B2B marketing, with expertise in market segmentation, targeting, and marketing efficiency. In particular, experience of B2B lead generation through email marketing would be beneficial.
  • Strong strategic thinking with a deep understanding of marketing principles, market dynamics, and B2B behaviour.
  • Ability to devise and test marketing plans, oversee activation, and present learnings to leadership.
  • Excellent skills in fostering internal and external partnerships.
  • Proficient in using data to track ROI and derive insights.
  • Effective coordination with Sales, Marketing, Product, UX, and other teams.
  • Expertise in fintech B2B marketing, including market trends and regulatory considerations.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and explore new ways to drive partner engagement.
  • Promote engagement and high performance within your team, aligned with our internal culture and people team guidance.
