We’re looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to join a best-in-class team on a 6-month contract supporting the small business credit card portfolio of a leading consumer financial services brand. In this hands-on role, you’ll shape go-to-market strategies, lead creative execution, and manage agency partners to deliver cohesive, high-performing campaigns. Responsibilities:
- Brand Stewardship: Maintain a deep understanding of the brand's purpose, strategy, and guidelines. Ensure brand cohesion across all go-to-market efforts. Champion brand solutions that directly support business objectives.
- Strategic Marketing & Planning: Partner closely with business teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns. Translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies and tactics.
- Creative Development & Execution: Manage the production and implementation of advertising and content across diverse channels, including linear and online video, digital, mobile, social, print, audio, out-of-home, website, email, and direct mail. Collaborate closely with agency partners and internal cross-functional teams (media, social, digital, PR, project management, creative, and analytics).
- Agency Management: Lead and manage external agency relationships, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality creative assets. Experience navigating the complexities of agency-client partnerships is essential.
- Consumer Insights & Testing: Partner with the market research team to leverage consumer insights to inform creative development and campaign optimization. Contribute to the testing and refinement of creative ideas.
- Compliance & Control: Ensure all campaigns adhere to legal, compliance, and risk management requirements. Obtain necessary approvals throughout the process.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress and potential roadblocks. Demonstrate a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, with a proven track record in brand strategy, marketing communications, and advertising execution. Experience working directly with advertising agencies is highly preferred.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect strategic thinking to tactical execution, driving measurable results.
- Proven experience managing creative agencies, including briefing, feedback, and project oversight. Ability to navigate quick turnarounds and demanding timelines.
- Expertise in video, digital, and social media creative production and channel best practices.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, manage cross-functional teams, and keep stakeholders informed.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to anticipate challenges and think strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior-level audiences.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in the financial services industry or with small business marketing is a significant plus
