Role Overview
As a Business Development Director at JD Ross, you will play a critical role in identifying and developing new business opportunities for our contract recruitment team. Your expertise will be pivotal in fostering and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional services that cater to their specific needs.
You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic business development plans aimed at expanding our client base and enhancing engagement with existing clients. This will involve collaboration with various internal teams to align our offerings with market demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Establish and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients to expand our market presence.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities and gain insights into industry trends and competitor activities.
- Create compelling proposals, bids and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
- Collaborate with internal contract teams to ensure alignment of services with client requirements.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for management.
- Actively participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to promote the JD Rossβ profile.
- Proven experience in business development or sales within a recruitment consultancy or related industry.
- Strong understanding of the Renewable Energy or Sustainability market or a background in oil & gas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and execute them successfully.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also thriving independently.
- Possess a results-oriented mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
