The Role
Oaktree is seeking a summer Intern to spend 8-weeks within the Business Development team.
The Intern will participate in a formal training curriculum that includes an introduction to the firm and its strategies, and an overview of relevant tools and systems.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the team in the fundraising efforts across Europe and Africa
Database management and reporting
Helping with the research via the internet and subscription-based research portals
Helping with the updating of marketing materials
Maintaining updates on clientโs investment via public resources
Assist with Corporate Communication & Branding projects related to PR, events and digital
Qualifications
Knowledge of financial markets
Exceptional analytical skills
Strong capabilities in Microsoft office applications
Personal Attributes
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic.
Outstanding initiative and a self-starter.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Team-oriented and collaborative and must possess strong integrity and professionalism
Education
Have an ABB or above at A level or equivalent
Currently pursuing a bachelorโs degree or a masters degree and on track for a 2.1 or above from a university or college.
