The Opportunity:

The Defence & Security Portfolio hosts a series of market-leading events across the UK, Europe, and Asia. These events range from Confexes to large-scale exhibitions, all of which are leaders in their respective fields. Over the next 12 months, we will continue to expand and innovate, exploring new geographies and platforms.

We are looking for a Campaign Marketing Executive to join our dynamic marketing function and provide support to the Campaign Manager working across our portfolio of brands.

You will play a key role in executing the campaign plan and assist in executing the brand vision, mission and values through a customer-driven campaign plan which delivers value for our audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of copy and content to support campaign requirements, ensuring it is on brand, customer-focused and benefit led. Using this content first approach to scale consistent messaging across all channels including email, social, web, paid etc
  • Execution of all social media marketing channels including providing a plan around key milestones and maximising in-house content for added engagement and delivering growth in-line with benchmarks and KPIs
  • Asset creation and delivery to support campaign activities with a mix of self-creation (Canva etc) and collaborating with a designer
  • Support the integration and scaling of our platforms and tools with specific focus on campaign automation (Pardot) ensuring you provide targeted, tailored and timely engagements
  • Proactively report on campaign performance, working with Managers and Marketing Ops, to ensure we gain insights that lead to optimised campaigns and growth in customer engagement
  • Work closely with the portfolio’s sales team creating campaigns that enable them to meet commercial objectives and KPIs and ensure conversion rates for MQLs to SQLs are managed, maintained, and optimise


Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • Experience across digital marketing including using social media platforms, paid ads and email marketing
  • Great copywriting skills with the ability to produce customer focused benefit led creative copy.
  • An understanding of content marketing and the role it plays in brand building and year-round engagement
  • Experience of current marketing technologies to maximise marketing effectiveness
  • Experience of working in a matrix, with good stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter who enjoys a busy and dynamic environment
  • An understanding audience segmentation is desirable
  • Experience with Pardot or a similar CRM is desirable
