The Role
We are looking for a pro-active, highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Operations team as a CASS Reconciliations Specialist. In this role, you will be an integral part of our CASS Operations team, responsible for performing daily client money reconciliations. This is a unique opportunity to take the lead in shaping and maintaining Plum’s best-in-class CASS framework, ensuring compliance and operational excellence as we continue to scale our business.
Responsibilities:
- Production and review of daily Internal Client Money Reconciliations to agreed deadlines.
- Challenge Internal and External processes to ensure compliance and best practice
- Review and improve internal processes and procedures, providing feedback to other teams where appropriate
- Provide support to the business based on technical knowledge and deal with complex issues and deliver resolution.
- Produce, analyse and report Daily Management Information.
- Review procedures periodically to ensure their completeness and accuracy and identify and drive forward ideas to improve them.
- Have technical understanding of platform functionality and operation, end to end view of the process and platform for the team.
- Assist with the monthly production of CMAR and provide detailed analysis and complete the submission of CMAR to the FCA at BD15
- Manage the RP changes and updates and test RP templates and report issues or non compliance.
- Review CASS RP on a monthly basis and prepare CASS RP testing reports.
- Acknowledgement Letter Review
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of CASS rules and how they apply to the operational environment.
- Knowledge of UK investment products and markets.
- Ability to take data from multiple sources and produce accurate and timely reports.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines as part of an effective team as well as autonomously.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
