For over a century, we’ve been transforming outdoor spaces with our wide range of Landscaping solutions. We now seek a Commercial Operations Manager to join our Commercial Operations department within Marshalls Landscape Products to drive our commercial team to new heights.

As a Commercial Operations Manager, your mission will be to challenge the status quo, implement change initiatives, and champion cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your role will be critical in ensuring that we continuously evolve, optimise our processes, and support the development of a culture focused on improvement.
Your role will be central to overseeing commercial processes, ensuring that pricing and order management systems function seamlessly. By fostering collaboration across departments, you will enhance the customer experience and ensure that all operational aspects align with business goals. You will be the driving force behind change initiatives, embedding best practices in business improvement, and mentoring teams to build a culture of continuous development.
Each day, you will engage with different departments, ensuring that commercial operations are efficient and aligned with strategic objectives. You will analyse data to identify performance trends, recommend improvements, and implement data-driven solutions that enhance commercial success. Your ability to communicate at all levels of the business will be vital in fostering collaboration and ensuring that business priorities are met effectively.
Your role will play a key role in supporting and guiding teams through change. Whether it’s implementing new systems, refining business processes, or introducing new ways of working, your influence will help ensure a smooth transition and long-term success. Your proactive approach will allow you to identify opportunities before they arise and implement solutions that drive growth and innovation.
What are the mission-critical skills?
Having experience in the UK landscaping market or the construction products sector will provide you with valuable insights into the industry. Familiarity with Marshalls Trading policy and a deep understanding of our products and services will be highly advantageous. This expertise will allow you to develop and implement business strategies that align with our core values and objectives. It will also help you engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and optimal business performance.
An understanding of Marshalls pricing and order systems will be beneficial in optimising commercial operations. Your ability to work within these frameworks will streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and support the development of effective pricing strategies that drive business success.
