Salary: £30000 - £35000 pa plus benefits

Sonnox is an established audio plugin and software company based in rural Oxfordshire. Since 2007, we've continued to obsess over creating the best, most innovative products to supplement and enhance Digital Audio Workstations, such as Logic, Ableton, ProTools, Studio One and Cubase. 

Our products are used by Grammy-winning professionals and hobbyists alike, from the most prestigious recording studios, film production houses, games manufacturers and global broadcasters to music producers, engineers, and mastering facilities.

For this position we can offer flexible working arrangements and a hybrid pattern, with regular attendance in our offices in Oxfordshire for collaborative work.

The Role:

We are looking for a Content Creator to Lead video content creation, including short-form and vertical video formats for social media, adverts, customer onboarding and tutorials.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead on engaging video content ideas, ensuring we’re creating scroll-stopping content that drives interaction and sharing
  • Produce branded educational content and artist features that connect with our audience
  • Support, work with or direct external contractors for hero content as necessary.
  • Repurpose, revamp, reuse and retire existing content to keep things fresh and maximise reach and engagement efficiently
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on social media and email marketing content
  • Write engaging short-form copy for emails, video descriptions, and interviews
  • Design graphics, thumbnails, and other visual assets that align with our brand to support video and written content
  • Present on camera or voiceover confidently and articulately, making complex topics accessible and engaging 
  • Stay current on the latest trends in music production, video creation, and social media and apply them to your work

What you’ll bring:

  • Solid experience in music production, with a good understanding of audio software, plug-ins, and related technologies
  • Proven skills in creating video content 
  • Comfortable and confident on camera, with clear, articulate voiceover skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Final Cut or Davinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator or Figma, and After Effects)
  • Functional graphic design skills—think creating thumbnails, social media posts, and email headers

Nice to have:

  • Experience with social media content creation and email marketing
  • Good analytical skills to interpret engagement and other metrics to refine our video strategy 
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing
  • Familiarity with creating and repurposing user-generated content and trending formats
