Could you be Incommunities new Content Marketer? We are looking for a creative individual to work with both the marketing and wider business to create high quality, engaging, tailored content for both internal and external audiences using a multi-channel approach.

About us

We are a social housing landlord and one of the largest housing providers in the region with over 22,000 social and affordable homes, mainly in the Bradford district. We employ a talented workforce of nearly 1,000 people.

This year will see us launch our new 5 year corporate strategy to 2029 which puts customers at the heart of what we do, providing great places to live and work, with homes that they are proud to live in.

Responsibilities

  • Creating engaging written content, examples including but not limited to press releases, award entries, web articles and social media posts.
  • Repurposing and fine-tuning content for different audience groups, ensuring that all communication is written in our brand tone of voice.
  • Providing guidance to colleagues on writing in our tone of voice, proofreading and editing copy as required.
  • Preparing digital content briefs e.g. video and animation.
  • Contributing, planning and developing the annual content plan for all channels.
  • Alongside the Marketing Operations Manager, you will create targeted customer journey comms (such as emails, letters, SMS) that align with our customer segments.
  • Develop an understanding of the differing needs around the organisation, using your experience and knowledge to make marketing and comms suggestions, pre-empting their needs, and exceeding their expectations with the quality of work delivered.
  • Create content for stakeholder events and conferences (internal and external), as well as supporting the wider team in the organisation and delivery of events.

About you

  • Possess excellent copywriting and proofreading skills and the ability to tailor your writing style for different channels and audiences, particularly focusing on accessibility.
  • Have an eye for creativity and innovation and the ability to demonstrate flair and imagination in marketing products/services.
  • Are a fantastic communicator, able to communicate clearly and concisely with people internally and externally at all levels.
  • Are highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently, setting achievable timescales and goals and communicating updates to manage expectations.
  • Have strong attention to detail with a critical eye.
  • Have a strategic mindset and the ability to see the big picture and understand how each individual task contributes to the organisation’s wider goals and strategic objectives.
  • A bachelor’s degree or similar level marketing qualification with at least 3 years marketing experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in customer journey marketing using CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot / Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • A deep understanding of the multi-channel marketing process, campaign planning and execution.
  • Experience of event planning and execution.
  • Optimising content considering SEO requirements and website best practice.
  • Desirable – experience of using Canva, video editing software and photography skills.
  • Salary of £40,747 up-to £45,296 per year depending on experience
  • West Yorkshire Pension Fund membership - Current employer contribution is 15.5%
