We are seeking an energetic, creative and proactive Content Marketing Executive to join our London-based marketing team. This role is ideal for a digital marketer with a flair for copywriting and content creation. You will love to experiment with different ways of getting our message in front of our students and clients, all while keeping to the highest standards in content creation.

You’ll live and breathe the BARBRI values: Innovation, excellence, collaboration, Impact and inclusivity. If this sounds like you, read on!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content that resonates with our students and supports them on their journey. You’ll also get to the heart of our law firm and other clients’ needs and pain points, and engage with them using great, clear content in the right tone of voice.
  • Storytelling across different channels and formats, including short-form videos, explainer videos, student testimonials, emails, blogs, interactive PDFs, website copy, on-demand webinars – whatever is needed! – to support our day-to-day marketing activities, sales enablement, campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives.
  • Create clear, comprehensive design briefs for our designers for anything from infographics to flyers and any other new content designs.
  • Update existing blog posts and website pages on the CMS, ensuring consistency, accuracy and quality across all pages. You’ll follow SEO best practices and our SEO agency’s recommendations to optimise our pages to drive traffic.
  • Work closely with the UX team to optimise content layout and presentation to improve user experience, engagement and conversions.
  • Track content and campaign performance through site analytics and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide general support to the marketing team, assisting with campaign planning, events and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with other teams and external suppliers in a friendly, efficient manner.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, tools and best practices, and share insights with the rest of us. We’re growing fast and we would love for you to spot a gap, try something new, and help us to stay at the forefront of innovation!

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in digital marketing at an organisation or agency with a focus on content creation across email marketing, video content, blogs and/or other relevant channels. If you have familiarity with interactive content formats such as quizzes and forms, great!
  • An excellent command of English grammar, spelling and turn of phrase.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, and confidence in engaging with a range of stakeholders and thought leaders.
  • Good organisational, project-management and time-management skills, with a strong ability to multi-task, secure approvals and meet deadlines.
  • Proven creativity – show us what you’ve done!
  • A hawkish eye for detail. Proofreading is your superpower, you’ll never mix your fonts and sizes and you can tell your sky blue from your BARBRI blue.
  • Good working knowledge of designing in Canva or a similar design programme.
