The Role

The Creative Lead role requires an original thinker who understands the strategy behind a brief and then takes ownership of the project from conception to production to deliver a considered and elevated creative solution.

As an art director-level digital creative, you’ll become an integral part of the marketing team, driving the creative output of the designers and copywriters on projects covering campaigns, print, digital, social, OOH, POS, collateral, signage, sales enablement, art direction, photography and film. A hands-on creative leader and manager, you’ll guide and coach the team to ensure all our work is design-led, to the highest standard, reflective of our brand and the communication goal.

Working closely with Head of Brand & Creative to drive creative thinking in our all output, you’ll add to our positive, open team culture and be comfortable working in a studio environment. To deliver meaningful work, the Creative Lead partner will with the Creative Production Lead to ensure all projects deliver on the brief creatively and to the agreed timeline. You’ll also build strong partnerships with key people in marketing, sales, operations and across wider the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on a broad range of projects such as campaigns, new building activity from acquisition to launch, signage, show suites, sales collateral, vinyls, member welcome books, brand communications and channel activity. Leading project kick-offs as required.
  • A digital-first creative, with experience of designing compelling and high-performing assets for paid and organic social, newsletter and UI work.
  • Taking creative ownership of projects, delivering to brief, budget and deadline. Reporting on the status of projects and working together to solve any challenges.
  • Delivering coherent design thinking that aligns with our visual identity, always with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Providing daily hands-on management, guidance and mentoring to the Creative team in-line with the new brand identity and creative direction. Driving creative thinking and new ideas through them and not accepting the status quo – challenging our ways of working and output to ensure we are always moving forward. Building new structures to allow the team to thrive.
  • Concept creation and art directing photography and film shoots for new building launches, brand and product campaigns. Commissioning CGI content for new building launches.
  • Working with your manager-level peers across Marketing and the wider business to roll out impactful campaigns and activations across all touch points.
  • Enabling the Portfolio, Meeting Room and Enterprise sales teams through the creation and monitoring of the design toolkits. Ensuring all sales enablement collateral is design-led, impactful and consistent with our brand and product proposition.
  • Partnering with the Creative Production Lead to ensure we deliver on the agreed project timelines, and build out a bank of freelancers and agencies.
  • Line managing the in-house designers and senior copywriter as well as freelance resource and agency partners as required.
  • Partner with the Head of Brand & Creative to develop, maintain and enhance our visual identity and brand positioning.
  • Minimum eight years’ experience in a creative agency, or in-house marketing team
  • A digital-first creative, with in-depth knowledge of Figma and designing for social channels across paid and organic.
  • The ability to read and interpret a brief, understanding the strategy behind it to achieve the creative solution
  • Demonstrated skills at working collaboratively with and leading other creatives (designers, copywriters, photographers, illustrators, stylists etc) to achieve desired results
  • Extensive experience producing and commissioning photographic and film shoots from social to campaign assets
  • Knowledge of the print production process and feasibility of your design work
  • Minimum eight years’ experience in a creative agency, or in-house marketing team
  • A digital-first creative, with in-depth knowledge of Figma and designing for social channels across paid and organic.
