The opportunity: 

Uphold is looking for a CRM Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in increasing customer retention, activation, and reactivation by spearheading initiatives across the customer lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing CRM campaigns across push notifications, email, sms, and in-app messaging, ensuring alignment with our broader marketing and product goals.

This role will collaborate with content, creative, data, and engineering teams to create engaging, data-driven campaigns and build automated journeys that enhance customer engagement. You’ll also analyze campaign performance, extract insights, and continuously optimize our CRM strategy to improve effectiveness.

 


What you’ll be doing primarily:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute CRM-driven GTM strategies to engage, retain, and reactivate customers.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the end-to-end execution of CRM campaigns, from ideation to deployment, including push, email, and in-app messaging.
  • Channel Optimization: Oversee the health and effectiveness of CRM channels, ensuring best practices for deliverability, engagement, and conversion.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with content, creative, data, and engineering teams to develop and launch impactful campaigns.
  • Lifecycle Automation: Design and implement automated marketing journeys that the team to scale your proven initiatives. 
  • Alignment with Product: Partner with the product team to align strategies across the two functions to optimize the customer experience.
  • Campaign Analysis & Insights: Track campaign performance, analyze data, and generate reports to optimize future marketing efforts.
  • Continuous Testing & Iteration: Design A/B testing, analyze results, and iterate on strategies to enhance engagement and conversion rates.


Required qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing campaign management.
  • Substantial experience executing push notification and email campaigns.
  • Project management experience, coordinating cross-functional resources.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, using data to guide strategy and improve performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.


Bonus if you have:

  • Experience working in fintech or finance-related industries.
  • Personal and professional experience in blockchain and crypto is a plus.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Customer.io.
  • HTML/CSS knowledge.
