Position Overview:

We are seeking a Data Analyst with a focus on marketing analytics to join our Corporate Marketing team. This role is essential in providing data-driven insights that shape our corporate marketing strategies and imprint initiatives. The Data Analyst will be responsible for building and running regular reports, performing complex analyses to uncover insights, managing and improving existing reporting systems, and helping drive strategic marketing decisions. A strong foundation in data visualization is critical, as this role will translate complex data into clear, actionable visuals for stakeholders across the organization.

Please note this role is based in New York City. Only those candidates that are available to work in the office on a hybrid schedule, at a minimum should apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, process, and ensure the quality of data from various sources to create a reliable foundation for analysis.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and clear narratives, delivering data interpretations through presentations, reports, or dashboards to inform business strategies.
  • Assist in defining and refining our data architecture, ensuring data sources, storage solutions, and analytical tools are streamlined, accurate, and aligned with business needs.
  • Build, automate, and maintain insightful reports and dashboards that use visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to make data accessible and meaningful for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the advertising team to interpret their data, helping integrate their metrics into larger marketing reports and ensuring consistency and relevance across all reporting.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of existing reporting systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the marketing department.
  • Identify and define new opportunities for improving data processes, reporting workflows, and analytic tools to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide consulting support to marketing leadership, offering analytic expertise to inform decisions and guide strategy.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong emphasis on marketing analytics or advertising data metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages with advanced skills in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) essential for creating clear, actionable reports.
  • Strong understanding of advertising metrics and marketing analytics, including CTR, ROAS, CPC, and conversion rates, with the ability to provide insights that optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and optimizing reporting systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to present data insights clearly and effectively to marketing stakeholders.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
