The Role
We’re looking for a Data & Operations Analyst to join our thriving Data & Revenue Operations (D&R) Team.
What is the Data & RevOps team's remit?
- Deliver projects to enable high performance of our revenue generation teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer and Finance teams.
- Provide data, insights and analysis to optimise revenue generating processes.
- Maintain a fully adopted tech stack for our revenue generating teams.
What will you be responsible for?
Working closely with our Executive Leadership Team, you’ll play a key role in supporting Sales, Customer and Marketing teams. The role requires experience and expertise in project management, strong skill in at least one technical area, and a willingness and curiosity to learn more. The role has a revenue operations steer, but experience in data will be beneficial as well.
- Be accountable for delivering projects across the team, managing your own projects and helping the rest of the team manage theirs- experience with Jira would help here, but is not necessary.
- Work closely with the C-suite including around reporting and commercial analysis, from pipeline reporting to close lost analysis and board reporting to steer revenue strategy. Your curiosity and analysis will help solve business problems.
- Work on revenue operations projects. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand user requirements to design and implement robust solutions in Salesforce, other revenue operations tooling, or through process management.
- With your data skills, you will work on projects in, Excel, PowerBI and AWS to build tools and reports to answer business needs and analyse data to impact commercial decisions
- Procure and adopt revenue operations tooling- you will monitor market developments including in AI tooling, work on the business case for tooling, compare providers, work with our procurement team and ensure new tools are adopted and integrated into our ways of working.
- Strong experience working in commercial finance teams or revenue operations teams. Experience in high growth / post-acquisition scale ups would be beneficial.
- Technical skills in order of desirability:
- AWS – Athena (SQL), Glue, S3
- Salesforce Knowledge Cloud
- Experience with revenue operations tools- Salesloft, BoardEx, Zoominfo, Gong and PlanHat or similar competitors is a plus.
- Project management skills- the ability to understand a problem, scope out requirements, plan the actions that need to be taken, document your work, execute the plan and train on and embed any changes.
- Logic/ problem solving skills- the ability to understand a problem and work through it to find the best solution.
- Commercial analysis, a curiosity and desire to solve business problems using data
- Communication skills- the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into requirements across our tech stack.
- Collaboration skills- required not just for working within the team, but for working effectively with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and align tools and processes accordingly.
