Position: Digital Marketing Coordinator

Position reports directly to: Marketing Producer

Location: Chicagoland (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $55,000 to $65,000 yearly 


Overview

Lightology is hiring a Digital Marketing Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives across email, social media, and web content. This role focuses on email deployment, organic and paid social media scheduling, coordinating editorial content, and providing general campaign support. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment but is also self-motivated and capable of working independently. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Email Marketing: Assist in building, testing, and deploying day-to-day marketing email campaigns using Listrak or equivalent platforms, ensuring accuracy in content, formatting, and segmentation.
  • Social media: Assist in planning and publishing organic social media efforts across Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok, following the brand calendar, guidelines, and voice.
  • Paid Social: Develop and execute a comprehensive paid social strategy to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and conversions—encompassing campaign planning, audience targeting, dynamic retargeting, content optimization, and analysis.
  • Campaign Coordination: Help track marketing campaigns and manage data for optimization and reporting.
  • Event Support: Provide basic coordination and execution support for virtual events and showroom activities.
  • Copywriting & Content: Assist with basic copywriting for emails, social media, web content, and other marketing materials.
  • Graphic & Video Content Support: Work with Adobe Photoshop for minor creative updates and experience with video editing.
  • Reporting Support: Pull data from Google Analytics, Listrak, and social media platforms to assist with campaign reporting and trend monitoring.
  • Adaptability & Innovation: Be comfortable with shifting priorities and open to learning new systems and technology to drive innovation and impact.
  • Proactive Insight: Identify and bring forward opportunities to improve marketing efforts and enhance results.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Experience with Listrak or similar email marketing tools, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • A passion for marketing, innovation, and continuous learning.
