Job Description

This role will be based in New York or Chicago.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Within our marketing & advertising business at LinkedIn (Marketing Solutions), our Marketer Education team focuses on developing and delivering multi-modal (eg self-service, live learning, cohort learning) training experiences & programs that help marketing learners globally develop expertise in marketing on LinkedIn’s advertising platform. As we continue to scale the reach and impact of these experiences & programs, we’re seeking a leader who will bring adult learning principles, instructional design experience, program management capability and enablement strategy design to drive the next evolution of this work with our team. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop & optimize the vision, strategies and tactics that enable marketers to learn how to be successful in the LinkedIn Ads platform. 

  • Lead a team to deliver multi-modal training & learning experiences to marketers (existing and potential customers) through the creation & delivery of written, video and interactive content, curriculum and programs, ensuring that we provide a world-class training experience throughout the entire learner journey. 

  • Collaborate effectively with other teams across our advertising business focused on educational efforts & programs, including Sales, Marketing, Member & Customer Success to both identify needs and opportunities throughout the customer journey and build a connective tissue between complementary initiatives. 

  • Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of Marketer Education training programs, regularly analyzing data to drive continuous improvement. 

  • Manage a team of program managers, trainers and instructional designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality deliverables and professional growth. 

  • Inspire and transform the performance of the team by role modeling mastery of craft, demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset and fostering a culture of learning, accountability and performance management 

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in customer education, integrating relevant innovations into our strategies and approaches. 

  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively to optimize the efficiency and scalability of Marketer Education team training initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience working in the digital marketing, advertising & media space 

  • 5+ years managing global / multi-market teams 

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working in customer education or enablement practices  

  • Passion for building & delivering exceptional learning experiences that drive value & satisfaction and lead to customer success 

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory and educational technologies; basic proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), content authoring tools, relevant software applications 

  • Ability to translate business goals & strategic priorities into actionable training initiatives and measure their impact 

  • Experience working cross-functionally to create shared objectives and effectively drive contribution toward them 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences 

  • Ability to manage and inspire a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, performance and accountability 

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is US $166,000 to US $253,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
