Description

Our client is seeking a senior leader to oversee the sales and marketing departments within the group. This role involves developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue generation. The director will collaborate closely with finance, operations, and aftersales teams to ensure alignment between sales and marketing objectives and the company’s overall goals.

Key Responsibility Areas:

- Sales Strategy Development:
1. Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet the company's revenue and growth objectives.
2. Lead the sales team, set targets, and develop effective sales tactics.
3. Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new sales opportunities.
4. Develop pricing models and discount strategies.


- Marketing Strategy Development:
1. Lead the overall marketing strategy to promote the brand, products, and services.
2. Oversee digital marketing, advertising, public relations, and content development efforts.
3. Ensure the marketing strategy is aligned with sales goals to increase lead generation and conversions.
4. Develop campaigns across various channels (social media, email, SEO, events, etc.) to enhance brand visibility.


- Team Leadership:
1. Manage and mentor the sales and marketing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
2. Conduct performance reviews and set professional development goals for team members.
3. Recruit, train, and retain talent within the sales and marketing departments.


- Budget Management:
1. Develop and manage the budget for both sales and marketing departments.
2. Allocate resources effectively across various initiatives to ensure the best return on investment.
3. Monitor expenses and adjust spending to stay within budget while maximizing output.


- Customer Relationship Management:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners.
2. Implement customer feedback programs to continuously improve the product or service offering.
3. Oversee customer service strategies to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.


- Market Research & Data Analysis:
1. Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities.
2. Utilize analytics tools to assess the performance of sales and marketing campaigns.
3. Use data to adjust strategies and improve decision-making.

- Collaboration with the Executive Team:
1. Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
2. Provide regular reports to leadership on sales and marketing performance, including key metrics like revenue, lead generation, and ROI.

- Brand Management:
1. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
2. Oversee the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and websites.



Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or any other related field.

- 15 years of experience and at least 4 years of experience in a leadership role.
