About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Manager who is energized by the challenge of moving a pre-scale business into a scalable growth phase. The foundation has been set, but there’s still critical work to do in strengthening our processes and developing a high-performing team before we scale.
This is a leadership role that blends big-picture thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll be responsible for expanding, coaching, and developing a high-impact sales team, working with the CCO to make sure they have the tools and structure to succeed. You’ll also work closely with our European parent company to align on strategy while advocating for the unique needs of the U.S. market.

What You’ll Do
- Lay the Foundation for Scale – Optimize our sales strategy, refine our processes, and ensure we are structured for long-term success
- Expand & Develop the Sales Team – Identify and recruit top talent to grow the existing sales team while coaching and mentoring them to reach their full potential
- Shape Our U.S. Market Strategy – Work with leadership to fine-tune our go-to-market approach, ensuring the right balance of outbound and inbound sales motions
- Champion a Proven Sales Process – Use MEDDIC to ensure a structured, repeatable approach to sales that drives predictable success
- Engage Senior Decision-Makers – Build relationships with CFOs and Chief Sustainability Officers (CSOs), demonstrating the strategic and financial impact of ESG
- Work Cross-Functionally for Success – Collaborate closely with BDR, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to create a seamless buyer journey and accelerate growth
- Collaborate with Global Teams – Work seamlessly with our European parent company, aligning strategy while ensuring the U.S. market has a voice
- Drive Revenue & Impact – Balance hands-on selling with leading a team to hit ambitious sales goals while creating lasting change for our customers
What We’re Looking For
- A Passion for ESG – You believe in our vision to embed ESG into the DNA of major companies and want to be part of making it happen
- Pre-Scale to Scale-Up Experience – You’ve worked in a pre-scale business and understand how to refine and optimize before accelerating growth
- Sales Leadership & Coaching – You have a track record of building and developing successful sales teams, creating a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance
- A Structured, Insightful Approach – Experience with MEDDIC or similar sales methodologies to ensure a strategic, data-driven approach to pipeline management and deal execution
- Experience in ESG and Enterprise Sales – Ideally, you’ve sold ESG solutions or enterprise SaaS to CFOs and Chief Sustainability Officers
- Collaboration with Global Teams – You know how to work effectively with a European parent company, ensuring seamless coordination while representing U.S. market needs
- A Strong Track Record of Success – You have a history of exceeding targets, growing revenue and helping businesses scale successfully
