About the team

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Financial Services Communications team to help promote our core FS credit products to our customers. This is an exciting time to join the team, with the recent launch of Configuration Centre and the development of our new FS product, Instalment Plans, launching next year.

About the role

You will be responsible for the planning, creation, deployment and reporting of key Credit to Account (CTA) and Configuration Centre communications.

  • This role manages the development, communication, execution and performance of a range of financial product promotions and communications, including leveraging our new Configuration Centre capabilities.

  • You will work closely with categories / trading / FS marketing to develop and implement activity that supports category trading objectives by making the most of our FS proposition. This includes supporting the development and delivery of CTA campaigns and the delivery of identified Configuration Centre tests.
  • This role is responsible for identifying areas of campaign optimisation, both on and offsite to improve category performance.
  • Innovation is a key part of this role and requires regular review of FS products in relation to category performance. You will support the development of test plans to drive business cases, alongside the delivery of the roll out and execution of defined activities using a number of marketing disciplines.

Scope of Role:

  • Support hiring Manager in successful co-ordination and delivery of tactical and strategic plans to drive FS income as well as contribution to Group profitability.
  • Delivery of CTA campaigns across categories, working with trading and FS colleagues, to deliver desired customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Working in partnership with colleagues across FS and the wider business to better integrate our FS USP into trading activity either as part of BAU or as part of major retail events / product launches.
  • Design and deliver tests to develop the utilisation of credit products, managing to agreed KPIs.
  • Input and contribution to wider projects and initiatives that increase customer awareness, consideration, engagement, activation and conversion using planned activity implemented by other TVG teams.
  • Work in collaboration with the Retail Campaign Team and other key stakeholders to deliver best in class FS marketing campaigns communicating results and outcomes along with future recommendations.
  • Knowledge of current regulation and governance surrounding all FS Marketing activity is essential, ensuring all FS marketing activity has been through the full approval and sign off process before deployment.
  • Working with colleagues across FS to improve own understanding of FS product offering to influence improved customer and commercial outcomes.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Marketing experience, preferably within retail financial services or a consumer environment.
  • A good understanding of the end-to-end marketing process across all marketing channels from the development of insight led campaign propositions to measurement against campaign, marketing and channel objectives.
  • Strong direct marketing experience, including an enhanced view of digital communications and the online channel.
  • Successful working within cross functional teams including providing direction for and building relationships with external suppliers and partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to present concepts and ideas to multiple stakeholders at varying levels within the business.
  • An understanding of the impact of risk and FS governance required for the appropriate development and delivery of marketing communications and initiatives (e.g. Consumer Duty, responsible lending, FCA requirements, Advertising Standards Authority etc).
