About the role

A newly created member of the Global Product Marketing team, the Global Product Marketing Executive will support the team with innovation strategy based on consumer, market and data insights, best-in-class product presentations to drive business excitement and approvals and easy-to-choose, easy-to-shop portfolio navigation, through collaboration with copy, visual merchandising and campaign marketing teams.

The role will work closely with the wider Global Marketing team, New Product Development, Visual Merchandising, Copy and Data teams.

The role requires a curious, positive, tenacious, highly organised and hands on individual with a clear knowledge and passion for the luxury beauty industry, fast learning skills, an irreproachable attention to detail, and their finger-on-the-pulse when it comes to trends and insights.

As a Product Marketing Executive you will

·       Market trends - support trend watch in the beauty realm and beyond, through social media and trend platforms.

·       Data analysis - support the team to build learnings and actions from external and internal sales data.

·       Competitive intelligence - support the team gathering insights of messaging, pricing, product architecture and innovation drumbeat seen in competition, leveraging store visits and online research.

·       Consumer insights - support the team in building solid consumer knowledge leveraging online reviews and gathering internal insights.

·       Copy and claims bible - work closely with the Copy and NPD team to establish a bible of messaging and copy for the makeup portfolio.

·       Presentations - support the marketing team in creating best in class ultra visual and informative marketing decks

·       Consumer facing copy - support the team as needed to review Visual merchandising artworks, marketing kits and .com copy to ensure accuracy and consistency of messaging across platforms.

·       Marketing assets - support the team with reviewing colour grading of packshots with creative teams and briefing evergreen assets to creative, in collaboration with campaigns teams (infographics)

·       Regional coordination - support the global makeup and gifting teams gathering insights from regional teams and coordinating regional requests to global.

·       Support with ad hoc marketing tasks as requested.

·       Product Concepts & Innovation - participate in ideation for new product concepts.

·       Build relationships with the NPD, Pro artist, Data, Education and .com teams, helping the Global Product Marketing team gather all relevant insights and data for the Makeup axis.

 

 

Who you will work with

·       You will be reporting to the Product Marketing leaders with regular contact with Brand Marketing and NPD teams

About you

·       Passion for the Beauty industry. Digital native and an avid follower of relevant news, trends, social media, influencers etc.

·       Very strong excel and PowerPoint skills.

·       Comfortable with numbers and data

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail

·       Team player - ability to build fluid, trustworthy, positive working relationships.

·       Results orientated with an impeccable work ethic.

·       Self-motivated and ambitious with a positive “can-do” attitude.
