Ineos Automotive are seeking a dynamic, results driven Head of Business Development who will be responsible for spearheading our growth in the Americas. This high-impact role will collaborate closely with the Executive Vice President and the commercial leadership team, demanding a strategic thinker with proven Automotive OEM experience to shape and execute our commercial and product strategy.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drive the Americas business strategy In collaboration with the Americas executive team and alongside the global commercial team
- Cultivate and evolve strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners such as captive banking and insurance partners
- Identify and develop new sales and partnership opportunities for INEOS Automotive across the United States, Canada and Mexico
- Define the future product, offer and pricing strategies for the Americas market
- Establish and oversee robust program management processes, including planning, governance, and reporting, to track progress and identify potential roadblocks
- Develop comprehensive business plans, incorporating financial models, for new ventures and partnerships, considering macroeconomic factors, industry trends, regulations, and competitive dynamics
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against program milestones
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing multi functional team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required; post-graduate degree a plus
- Extensive senior-level experience in Automotive OEM, specializing in sales, product management, and finance within the Americas region
- Broad commercial experience encompassing marketing, aftersales, branding, communications, and distribution
- Proven success in program management and business development
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, creating structure and clarity while motivating teams and partners.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute effective project plans, manage complex projects, and deliver results with multiple stakeholders
- Exceptional communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills, with experience influencing senior leadership
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing successful new market entry strategies, expansion plans, or building businesses from the ground up (experience outside automotive is valuable if comparable in complexity and stakeholder management)
