This position can be performed in New York City or San Francisco depending upon which location the applicant chosen for the role is currently residing.

This team sits within the LMS Customer Science organization and is responsible for developing leading-edge insight solutions and providing support at-scale to put more assets into the hands of our sales teams to drive commercial outcomes powered by the experiences of LinkedIn’s 1B+ members spanning over 200 countries and territories.    

Key responsibilities for this role include close collaboration with Customer Science teams, cross-functional partners and Sales leaders to deliver world-class marketing and business intelligence innovations that unlock new paths for market differentiation and growth. Realizing the vision for this role will require developing new intelligence assets and scale support solutions, as well as conceiving of new mechanisms for distributing insights at-scale to support LMS sales teams with nurturing existing customers as well as driving organic and net new business development.  

Responsibilities:   

Scale-Innovation Strategy   

  • Aligned to the LMS Customer Science and Customer Insights strategic priorities, drive the end-to-end roadmap for Customer Insights scaled asset creation, production and distribution focusing on automation, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies (e.g., Gen-AI, media data clean rooms). 

  • Build and refine the strategy for scalable Customer Insights distribution, with an emphasis on vertical-specific and audience-specific advisory assets that can be deployed rapidly at-scale to support a high volume of customers effectively.  

Technical Leadership & Solution Design  

  • Lead a team of technical program managers skilled in data engineering, analytics, and automation to develop and scale intelligence and advisory assets to support more and more impactful engagements with customers of varying sizes and across a variety of industries.  

  • Guide the team in developing and deploying data-driven solutions that leverage AI, predictive modeling, and other data science techniques to produce actionable, ready-to-use insights at scale.  

People Leadership   

  • Cultivate a high-performance culture within the team, focusing on innovation, solutions ownership, and accountability.   

  • Coach and develop the team, modeling LinkedIn’s culture and values, to ensure the execution of solutions at a high standard, balancing process rigor with solution-driven agility and commercial focus.  

Global Stakeholder Partnerships   

  • Establish strong partnerships with senior sales and marketing stakeholders, fostering a shared commitment to scale support solutions innovation and adoption.   

  • Collaborate effectively against shared objectives with global peers across all capability areas within the Customer Science organization and cross-functional partners including data science and engineering teams. Be a world-class collaborator who can build trust, influence and co-create. 

Commercial Impact  

  • Ensure all intelligence innovations align with key commercial objectives, equipping sales teams with insights that support revenue expansion, relationship-building, and strategic advisory capabilities.  

  • Develop scale-friendly customer insights assets tailored to diverse market needs, focusing on both organic growth and new business generation.  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications   

  • 10+ years of experience in digital media, marketing, advertising, media consulting or related industry  

  • 5+ years in enterprise leadership role in digital media or marketing analytics, data science, or technical program management   

  • 3+ years of experience managing technical teams  

  • Experience developing data products, technologies and platforms  

  • Experience in data modelling marketing analytics methodologies, SQL and databases.  

  • Experience in data pipeline development and ETL processes  

  • B.A/B.S. in a data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics or other quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience  

 Preferred Qualifications   

  • M.S. or above in a data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics or other quantitative field  

  • 7+ years in enterprise leadership role in digital media or marketing analytics, data science, or technical program management   

  • 5+ years of experience managing technical teams  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving actionable insights from complex data sets  

  • Passion for developing high-performing global teams and creating transformational career opportunities  

  • Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking and solutions orientation  

  • Expertise in B2B marketing analytics and marketing intelligence or B2B consulting

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $148,000 to 230,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
