With Intelligence is seeking a Head of Product Strategy LP (Limited Partners) to lead our product initiatives for the LP segment in the dynamic landscape of alternative asset management. The Head of Product Strategy LP is tasked with devising a comprehensive product strategy that resonates with the needs of limited partners and drives significant growth. This role will require a keen understanding of market trends, client workflows, and competitive landscapes to cultivate and promote innovative solutions tailored to the LP audience. You will be crucial in developing a deep understanding of customer requirements while working alongside cross-disciplinary teams to translate insights into actionable product strategies.

Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for creating impactful business propositions that leverage emerging opportunities and enhance our position within the market. This hands-on role will initially focus on strategy development and execution, with the potential to build and lead a dedicated team in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy development for product offerings targeting Limited Partners, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Data, Sales, and Marketing to ensure cohesive product execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to develop a nuanced understanding of their needs and expectations.
  • Act as the advocate for Limited Partners, ensuring their voice influences product development and enhancements.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer usage data to inform product enhancements and new developments.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for product roadmaps and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
  • Monitor industry developments and adjust product strategy as needed to maintain competitiveness.
  • Develop clear business cases for product initiatives and coordinate efforts for on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Engage with the Sales and Marketing teams to effectively communicate product value propositions and foster growth within existing and new client segments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on LP products, supporting sales initiatives through presentations and client engagements.
  • Proven experience in product strategy or management within financial services, particularly in alternative investments or the asset management industry.
  • Strong understanding of the needs and behaviors of Limited Partners and an appreciation for the complexities of the investment ecosystem.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to assess market opportunities and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in project management with a track record of delivering initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining a detail-oriented approach.
