We are growing rapidly and right now we are looking for a Head of Tax to join our Financial Department.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of senior tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and implement global tax strategies that align with the companyโs financial objectives and comply with international tax laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in all jurisdictions where the company operates, including the US and European market.
- Manage relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the companyโs operations.
- Drive continuous improvement in tax processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, postgraduate or equivalent is nice to have.
- CPA, direct and proven experience in the US market.
- Leadership and background in finance with significant tax compliance and advisory experience for global/multinational companies. Coming from the travel industry is a big plus.
- Deep international knowledge of tax legislation and accounting principles, especially in the US, Europe, and UK. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of tax laws and accounting standards in the key regions.
- Results-driven with a track record of achieving strategic goals and improving business outcomes.
- Skilled in explaining complicated tax issues clearly to those without a tax background (non-tax professionals).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, and tax rules/laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement creative solutions to challenges.
- Work independently with a high level of accountability.
- Advanced or Fluent in English (both written and spoken), ensuring effective communication with international colleagues.
- Preferably located in Europe.
