Role Description

We are recruiting for a Junior Content Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative content strategies to engage audiences, increase brand visibility and drive business goals. This role is ideal for a dynamic and knowledgeable content marketing professional with a passion for creativity and strong organisational skills. You will be accountable for the creation, management and distribution of high-quality, engaging content across a variety of formats and platforms with an additional focus on reporting of campaign and wider digital marketing metrics. Playing a key part in the delivery of the marketing strategy, you will report to the Head of Marketing on a day-to-day basis and will be part of a small Marketing Team but also work in close collaboration with the Sales and Regulatory Teams.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy Development

  • Working with the Head of Marketing, develop and implement innovative B2B content marketing strategies that align with strategic marketing objectives and wider business goals.
  • Identify and define target audiences using effective segmentation techniques including demographics, psychographics, consumer behaviour and prospect needs with attention to the customer journey and ideal content types.
  • Conduct regular market research to understand and identify new content creation opportunities.

Content Creation and Management

  • Oversee the creation of various content formats, including infographics, blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, videos, and whitepapers to attract, engage and convert target audiences.
  • Collaborate with the Advisory Service Team, other Marketing Team members and 3rd party providers to craft compelling content copy, ensuring accuracy, quality and consistency.
  • Understand complex regulatory compliance topics and information with an ability to edit, proof and repackage for different content formats, audience types and strategic objectives.

Content Distribution

  • Systematically distribute and promote content across various channels, including social media, email, website, direct mail and other online/offline platforms as part of standalone campaigns or to achieve wider business goals.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Directors, Advisory Services and other members of the Marketing Team to integrate content into broader initiatives.
  • Liaise and collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors where required to create quality content that meets departmental and Ashbury brand standards.

Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyse content performance metrics and A/B test to inform future content strategy and assess ROI.
  • Implement SEO best practices wherever possible/applicable to optimise content for prospect/client discoverability and to increase organic traffic.
  • Devise regular reporting to help refine overarching content strategy and initiatives based on data-driven insights to optimise processes and effectiveness.

Skillset and Experience

  • 4/5+ years of experience in B2B content marketing with a strong knowledge of SEO and digital marketing practice.
  • Experience with social media and email marketing with a comprehensive understanding of how different content formats are suited to different audiences and marketing channels.
  • Strong copywriter with the ability to craft compelling, engaging and high-converting content.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends and measure content impact and refining strategies.
  • High proficiency in various content creation tools, platforms and experience with AI-driven content tools and automation.
  • Organised and personable with an ability to work independently or as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment.
