G MASS Consulting is eager to connect with an experienced KYC Specialist with a strong background in integrity due diligence and stakeholder management. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our leading international financial client, based in the City of London. The role is an initial 12-month contract, with the expectation of extension.

As a KYC Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in conducting, managing, and enhancing integrity due diligence across a diverse portfolio of projects and clients. Your responsibilities will focus on identifying and mitigating risks related to money laundering, corruption, sanctions, and reputational concerns, while collaborating closely with Banking teams and other key stakeholders.

You will contribute to building a centralised function that supports robust due diligence processes and sets a benchmark for industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment and management of integrity risks, including AML, sanctions, corporate governance, and reputational concerns.
  • Conduct in-depth due diligence on clients, sponsors, and associated entities, including periodic reviews of active projects.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring consistent quality and operational efficiency.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the institution to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of improved processes, technology, and operational standards for the team.
  • Represent the team in discussions with senior stakeholders, driving strategic initiatives and delivering training.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in KYC/AML, integrity due diligence, or related fields, ideally within investment banking or corporate advisory.
  • Expertise in enhanced due diligence (EDD), corporate governance, financial crime risk, and regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to present findings clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior team members.
  • Familiarity with international markets, particularly in Central Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, or similar regions.
  • Ability to set up new processes and work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in additional languages is highly advantageous.

Paying £50K to £60K (12 months FTC)
