As part of our ongoing expansion, we seek a Health Economics and Outcomes Research Manager (HEOR) to join our team.
SUMMARY:
As the Health Economics and Outcomes Research Manager you will drive the global health economic and outcomes research strategy for OrganOx through the metra® lifecycle, with an emphasis on addressing the evidentiary needs of our operations, to demonstrate product value thereby strengthening commercialization activities for inline, launch and pipeline products. Lead the development of health economic and patient-reported outcomes evidence. Proactively partner with all relevant internal stakeholders to ensure that the available clinical evidence is optimized for market access. Continually innovate with the affiliate-based HEOR community and external HEOR advisors (KOLs) to document product value. Apply new, innovative, scientific HEOR evidence methods to strengthen data demonstrating value of OrganOx’s products.
This pivotal position will lead our efforts to provide deep market insights, competitive analysis, and strategic intelligence to inform decision-making and strategy development across the enterprise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Economics, Marketing, Finance or a related field, with a strong emphasis on market research and analysis
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in market and competitive intelligence, with significant exposure to MedTech/Healthcare, preferably Pharma and/or Medical Device
- Proven track record of developing and executing market intelligence strategies that have driven strategic decision-making and competitive advantage. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong domain knowledge and a passion for turning data into impactful strategies that drive business growth.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to distill complex business models, financial projections, deal structures, industry dynamics and investment merits into clear, actionable insights. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing senior executives and stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in market/financial research tools and databases, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint

- Develop and implement advanced methodologies for gathering strategic market and competitive intelligence, ensuring comprehensive coverage of trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Conduct in-depth competitive analyses to identify market positioning, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, guiding strategic planning and competitive strategy development
- Monitor and analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements, providing timely insights that impact strategies
- Deliver concise, high-impact intelligence reports and presentations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders, translating complex data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations
- Actively participate in the due diligence process for new collaboration and strategic acquisition/development by analyzing company filings, financial statements, diligence reports, equity/ credit research, etc.
- Maintain and expand expertise in Med Tech, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within this industry
- Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Finance, Sales and external partners to enhance intelligence capabilities and ensure alignment with broader strategic objectives
- Contribute to business development efforts by providing market and competitive insights that enhance proposals, pitches and other business planning exercises. Interact with KOLs in industry to research potential opportunities for product and business expansion.
