Key Responsibilities\:
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Targeted Marketing, this position implements targeted email, SMS and push marketing programs supporting business priorities for United and MileagePlus and ultimately driving incremental revenue. Works closely with key business partners in the commercial and digital organizations to develop creative, targeting and segmentation that will effectively engage customers and drive revenue. Collaborates with the analytics team to gain insights and gather findings for implementation across the team.
- Develop and implement best-in-class targeted marketing programs across email, SMS and push channels. Lead creative and production support teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. Ensure campaigns are thoughtfully targeted, segmented and personalized to be as effective as possible, and are consistent with brand guidelines, tone and voice.
- Collaborate with Analytics to develop test-and-learn strategies and deliver standard post-promotion analysis on program effectiveness. Actively look at past findings to drive future approaches.
- Take a proactive approach at seeking new opportunities to improve campaign processes and effectiveness. Advocate for modeling strategies and machine learning/automation where appropriate.
- Act as portfolio owner. Communicate program status and results to team members, advocate for the voice of the customer, and promote marketing standard processes.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications)\:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/ or Business
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing
- 1-2 years of leadership/people management experience
- Strong executive project management skills. Ability to provide structure, be proactive, navigate ambiguity, and manage/influence internal and external customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, active listening, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced work setting
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in large corporate environments
- 1+ years of experience with SMS or push notifications
- Knowledge of airline industry and/or loyalty programs
