Position Summary:  Assist the Assoc. Manager, Brand Marketing in all B2C marketing efforts targeted at homeowners, designers, and tastemakers considering TimberTech products, including all social and influencer programs. Opportunities for specific projects working with cross-functional marketing team members and external marketing agencies.

This is a paid internship where you will report directly to the Associate Manager, Brand Marketing. Throughout your time with The AZEK Company, you can expect to participate in meaningful project work and professional learning opportunities that will help you grow as a Marketer and as a future professional.
During your time with AZEK, you will also get exposure to, and an opportunity to network with, other interns, AZEK employees, and company executives.

Time Commitment & Expectations: 

  • AZEK’s summer Intern program runs from May 19th, 2025 – August 8th, 2025. Participants must be available for at least 11 out of the 12 weeks.  
  • Program runs for 40 hours/week, with the exception of the week of Memorial Day & Independence Day (unpaid holidays) 
  • Participants must be available for two in person events  
  • Wilmington, OH week of June 2nd 
  • Chicago, IL the week of July 21st or 28th  
  • Weekly Lunch & learns 45-90 minutes 

 Travel Requirement(s):  10%

What you can expect:

  •  1:1 Learning with the Assoc. Manager of Brand Marketing
  •  A fast-paced, exciting and creative working environment
  •  Partnering with internal teams including marketing, creative, finance, and more (including external agencies)

What you’ll learn:

  •  Strategies and tactics for running engaging social media channels including content, community management, and more
  • How to execute successful influencer programs in a unique product category (luxury building materials)
  •  How to build and execute omni channel marketing campaigns with a focus on collaborating cross-functionally
  • Best practices and hands on experience managing external marketing agencies

Ideal Student:

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student studying Marketing at an accredited college or university (an emphasis or focus on Media is a plus)
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • High academic standing (Preferred GPA – 3.0+)
  • Successful completion of a minimum of 60 credit hours
  • Able to participate in at least 90% of the program May – August
  • Willing to relocate to a geographic location with an AZEK facility, if needed, upon graduation.

 Students must be eligible to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship.
