This position is responsible for assisting the marketing team with web and event updates as well as important correspondence with guests, partners, internal teams and agencies. This position will play a key role in the organization and efficiency of the department and will report to the Director of Brand Marketing.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
• Update internal events marketing calendars in collaboration with the Marketing Director, Marketing Managers, and Director of Nightlife ensuring alignment across departments and timely communication of event details.
• Add and update event-related content across Arlo Hotels, ART Rooftops, Arlo After Dark and associated restaurant websites.
• Update operational details and menus on Arlo Hotels and restaurant websites to ensure the accuracy of guest-facing content.
• Conduct website audits to update outdated information and escalate any technical issues to the VP of Ecommerce for resolution and improvements.
• Manage internal guest communication through Whistle, Sonifi, Canary, Vestaboard and happenings calendars, ensuring accurate and consistent messaging across all platforms to enhance the guest experience.
• Compile email lists from ticketing platforms, photobooths and other data collection platforms providing the VP of Ecommerce contact lists for email marketing.
• Maintain the collabs inbox by assisting with correspondence, ensuring timely and professional communication for various partnerships and initiatives.
• Assist with email correspondence in the greater marketing alias.
• Assist in collaborating with creative and/or development team to complete projects.
• Willing to assist the marketing team with shoots and events when needed.
• Participates in restaurant & hotel sales and marketing meetings, takes minutes and ensures follow up.
• Cooperates and communicates with Operations and Property teams.
• Lives the Arlo culture; understands, communicates, and acts in accordance with Arlo Hotel‘s core values and demonstrates their connection to the success of the business.
• Build strong partnerships with internal customers and outside vendors.
• Always treat guests with courtesy and respect in a variety of situations.
• Perform all other job-related duties as requested by the Director of Marketing.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with web hosting platforms are especially effective in this position.
• Minimum 1 year of digital marketing experience OR;
• Minimum 1 year of administrative experience; preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Very detailed oriented; ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Previous hotel/ marketing venue experience an asset.
• Is a team player and consistently engaged in serving others, always looking for that opportunity.
