We are looking for a Marketing Event Manager. 

Compensation: $138,000 employee equity plan grant & world-class benefits.

We’re looking for someone to deliver exceptional event experiences, both for our internal Rokt’stars and external clients & prospects, designed to amplify and advance Rokt’s impact and mission by positioning Rokt as a thought leader in the ecommerce technology industry. 

This person should be an experienced Marketing Event Manager who understands all aspects of event planning and production for large audiences and intimate gatherings. This person should enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You must have excellent project management skills, strong attention to detail, be deadline-driven, and have a creative mind. If you can multi-task, coordinate numerous projects at once, and be willing to own the outcome of your event campaigns, this may be the role for you.

Responsibilities

The success of this role will be measured by the overall positive representation of the Rokt brand for both an internal Rokt’star audience (employees) and external clients and business prospects by delivering a flawless and successful experience with a high standard of excellence.

  • Be the main lead on all event planning, logistics, and execution of Rokt’s annual Global Kick Off (GKO) event held in January for all 600+ Rokt’stars worldwide - GKO includes a robust week-long agenda of content, local experiences, team building, celebrations, and inspiration for the year ahead
  • During the off-season of GKO planning, support large event activations to extend the value of event sponsorships with thoughtful communications to improve Rokt’s industry position as a thought leader in ecommerce technology and drive greater awareness of Rokt among key customers and prospect
  • Oversee and drive key external event programs that align with Rokt’s overall business objectives, product roadmap, and marketing calendar to drive business revenue
  • Work across functions with Rokt’s Executive Committee, marketing team, creative team, etc., to deliver exceptional, engaging, and meaningful event experiences 
  • Manage priorities, develop detailed production plans, and partner with leaders across all levels to drive cross-functional event initiatives
  • Work with third-party vendors, production agencies, and the larger marketing team to determine communication objectives, define approaches, and develop promotional materials for all events
  • Allocate resources and manage deadlines to ensure events are executed on time and within budget
  • 4-5 years of experience in event planning, event production, or a related role required
  • Demonstrates superior organizational and communication skills with technical expertise in event planning for large audiences
  • Portray a keen interest and ability to push the boundaries in event planning by constantly looking for opportunities to improve deliverables, experiences, and desired outcomes
  • Proven success in managing multiple projects and events simultaneously while working with tight deadlines
  • Possess exceptional leadership skills, being able to move and inspire a cross-functional team and guide it towards a unified objective and with a unified vision
  • Having used Hubspot as a CRM and automation tool is a plus
