You will work alongside a host of creative individuals in a dynamic environment, being exposed to the inner workings and talent of a BAFTA-winning and Oscar-nominated production company. You will be an active participant in the team’s planning activities and will work in collaboration with other departments in the company, including our roster of renowned Directors.
We are looking for a talented marketing executive to join the Marketing and PR team. The role is diverse, creative, collaborative and fast paced. It is well suited to a self-starter with strong organisational and communication skills. You will be working on a wide range of projects and campaigns, covering awards, events, press, website management, and social.
RequirementsWhat you’ll be doing:
- General
- Planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Marketing Designer.
- Working with designers and editors to produce marketing materials.
- Help liaise and network with a range of stakeholders, including colleagues, press, clients and partner organisations.
- Maintaining the marketing drives, archive records and public directories (APA / Source / Slate, and more).
- Support the team’s internal comms activity.
- Support internal events from a marketing perspective.
- Awards
- Tracking and maintaining the awards schedule, to meet entry deadlines and archiving accolades won.
- Prepping and submitting award entries.
- Help create the awards strategy through insightful research.
- Events
- Research and track industry events.
- Provide both administrative and in-person support for live events.
- Working with the team to produce thought-leadership opportunities at relevant festivals and events.
- Organisation of events attendance, including tickets, travel and activity coordination, in support of attending colleagues
- Press
- Support and deliver the press strategy by finding new opportunities to promote Nexus Studios’ work.
- Maintain and expand targeted press contacts database with a focus on UK and US
- Press pack assembly and internal distribution.
- Track and archive coverage.
- Social
- Execute the social media strategy, including scheduling, preparing and posting of materials
- Copywriting for social media.
- Manage social media channels, maintain profiles and audiences, track trends and optimise the use of tools.
- Nexus Studios Website
- Build and maintain web pages, in collaboration with the Marketing Designer. Track general site health.
- Write web copy for project pages and news posts.
What you’ll bring:
Strong organisational and project management abilities, a flair for writing, passion for creative work, attention to detail, and a demonstrable interest in Marketing/Film is essential, via education, work or personal experience. You will be comfortable with using tools like Mailchimp, WordPress CMS, Google Suite, Airtable and Slate.
- You will have a keen interest in marketing and ideally in film, animation, and immersive sectors.
- You'll be proactive and have strong project management and communication skills, and enjoy being hands-on.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience beyond internships, ideally within the creative industries.
- You'll be proactive and have strong project management and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with examples of copywriting.
- Ability to communicate clearly with peers, clients and stakeholders.
- An awareness of arts and culture, and industry trends.
