Marketing Planning and Operations Manager (EMEA) Finance
As a Marketing Operations Project Manager for our technology client, you will support regional and local marketing teams in EMEA. You would help them operationalise their plan and achieve their objectives.
You will contribute to operational excellence by managing and improving operational processes, including leading quarterly activity planning, managing budgets, and serving as the key POC for the team with finance. You will work closely with global teams (S&O, finance, legal, compliance) to ensure alignment and streamline operational processes.
Ideal candidates will be natural number crushers with a hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving. They should have strong quantitative skills, comfort in tackling broad-reaching and ambiguous questions, and the ability to communicate and work collaboratively and cross-functionally with stakeholders of all levels, particularly those in marketing and operations roles.
Responsibilities:
- Adapting and optimising key global operational structures and processes to ensure the team works as efficiently and nimbly as possible
- Managing and tracking the team’s resources (including ad hoc requests)
- Partnering with finance to manage marketing budget across multiple strategies and markets to ensure agility in resource management and spending efficiency.
- Creating and maintaining tools to improve access to data and decision-making
- Create playbooks and training programs to improve the team’s professional level
- Representing the EMEA team in cross-functional and global operational forums
- Conducted business analysis and provided measurements to support crucial marketing investment decisions.
- Distill learnings and best practices from various initiatives and syndicate across functions
- Provide critical inputs to set Marketing’s annual strategic plan globally, articulating our team's most critical strategic priorities and corresponding investment.
You:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in a management consultancy, marketing agency or technology company covering strategy, operations, finance or marketing strategy.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends and present key findings (both quantitative and analytical skills) and then apply them to future programmes.
- Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills and strong business judgment.
- Project management experience is a must for this role. Live and breathe Google Sheets.
