Summary

Primarily responsible for working with the marketing/business development team and Regional VP(s) to produce proposals and prequals including, but not limited to, creative/technical writing, etc.  Ensure narratives get saved to the Library and projects descriptions get updated in Unanet/Cosential, as applicable, among other things. 

Assigned Responsibilities*:

  • Work with team to manage and produce proposal and presentation submissions
  • Assist with or handle creative and technical writing
  • Create graphics/charts for proposals
  • Create/update project profiles
  • Create/update staff resumes
  • Database/Library updates
  • Produce database reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Shared Department Responsibilities

  • Prepare presentations/materials for meetings and/or interviews 
  • Prepare award submissions 
  • Participate in outreach and network events as needed

Authority

Reports to the Director of Marketing.



Requirements

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

Exceptional communication and writing skills required. Attention to detail is critical. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and InDesign software. Familiarity with Unanet/Cosential database is helpful.

 

Education and Training

College degree in English, marketing, or communications or a minimum five (5) years experience in marketing and business development within the construction industry, exceptional follow up and writing skills, proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Acrobat required. Attention to detail is critical.

Physical Demands 

  • Involves sitting, walking, stooping, bending, reaching ad lifting. 
  • Can involve lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. 

 

Work Environment 

  • Work is performed in the office. Noise levels vary.

Pay Range

$65,000 to $90,000

F.H. Paschen reserves the right to offer the selected candidate or applicant an hourly rate or salary at an appropriate level to be set and determined by the employer that is commensurate with the applicant's qualifications, experience, education, skill training, certifications, or seniority.
