Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Middle Market Personal Lines Account Executive for one of our Regional Clients. Extremely flexible schedule with 4 days working from home and 1 day in office in the NYC Metropolitan area. Please see qualifications below:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary Role is to assist busy producer primarily with Personal lines.
  • Prepare and send Broker of Record Authorization forms and process with the carriers.
  • Responds to client request for policy changes, billing inquiries and verification of coverage. Ensures that these items are given to client in a timely manner.
  • Maintains follow-up and suspense file on outstanding orders, correspondence, renewal expirations and follows up on overdue and suspense items.
  • Checks new and renewal policies and endorsements for accuracy in coverage.
  • Assists with marketing renewals and new lines of insurance for producerโ€™s accounts.
  • Manages billing issues, and tracks cancellations.
  • Manage renewal reviews and remarketing when necessary.
  • Help producer from having a nervous breakdown and keep her organized.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with AMS360
  • Excel and word proficient
  • Current NYS Brokers License
  • Extensive personal line underwriting/coverage knowledge, some knowledge of commercial lines, or willing to learn.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various insurance contracts and the coverage they provide, as well as an understanding of company underwriting guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Chubb, ACE, Cincinnati, AIG, Travelers, PURE systems in order to secure quotes. The more carriers the better
  • Knowledge of Flood Coverage and how to quote and secure policies.
  • Ability to secure all required underwriting information from new clients and/or producers to market the account.
  • Quote new business and renewals based on risk with one or more carriers.
  • Knowledge of running underwriting reports and the ability to interpret the information provided.
  • Have a knowledge of high-net-worth clients and their coverage needs.
  • Enthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, self-motivated.
