Snif products are sold on our DTC site www.snif.co and can also be found at Ulta Beauty and Target. We’ve been featured across notable press outlets including, Forbes, Fast Co., WWD, Vogue, Allure, Cosmopolitan, NY Mag, Harper’s Bazaar, and more. Additionally, we’re backed by some of the most revered investors in the consumer goods space.

We’re a lean team that’s expanding quickly, and we’re looking for someone who believes in our vision to shift the way people experience scents.

The Role:

Creative marketing activations and partnerships are core to the Snif brand. As the Partnerships & Activations Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in Snif’s marketing strategy and growth. You will support planning, execution, and tracking across key initiatives including influencer strategy and relationships, product seeding, sampling, events, and public relations.   

This role requires an individual who is motivated to problem-solve, build relationships, and think creatively. This is someone who thrives on collaboration and isn’t afraid to try something new. Additionally, this individual brings incredible structure and organization to the team in order to bring these big ideas to life. 
The Partnerships & Activations Marketing Manager will report directly to our Director of Customer Acquisition and Partnerships and will work closely with our teams across marketing, creative and brand, retail, and product.

While we are based in New York City, we operate as a fully remote team. Job may require travel ~10-15% of the time depending on business needs and event calendars.

What You'll Do:

    • Define go-to-market strategies for new product launches, as well as sustaining on-going growth of our portfolio across channels
    • Lead Snif’s creator and affiliate marketing efforts. This includes owning Snif’s product seeding program, affiliate platforms, press kits, paid posts, whitelisting, and more
    • Own planning and execution of in-person activations for the Snif brand, including VIP events, editor engagement, and community pop-up
    • Own reporting for growth initiatives, aggregating data and insights across sources to identify key areas of opportunity
    • Support Snif’s partnerships and collaborations including sourcing, pitching, communication, and meeting preparation
    • Support Snif’s PR strategy including pitches, product sends, interviews, and more
    • Grow Snif’s offline marketing efforts including events, sampling, and OOH
    • Provide support for additional business and marketing needs.

What You'll Bring:

    • 2-3 years of work experience; agency or brand experience preferred
    • You are someone who can “do it all” across marketing - you can dive into data analysis, expertly plan an event, and build relationships with brand collaborators
    • Strength and rigor in navigating ambiguity. You’re a self-starter and a team player
    • Eagerness to roll-up your sleeves with a “figure it out” mentality 
    • Strong communication skills and professionalism. You can confidently and kindly lead a meeting with talent and brand partners
    • Next-level time management and organization skills. You are a pro at taking an idea and owning it until completion
    • Genuine excitement for the creator economy and world of influencer marketing. You love to spend time online keeping up with the latest trends
    • Strong awareness and experience using Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
    • Ability to quickly understand Snif’s brand and voice, and translate this into our strategy and interactions
    • Eye for up-and-coming trends and concepts to inform how and where to strategically place our products online
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, and Google Suite
    • You are curious, innovative, and constantly seeking ways to make an end result or process the best it can be
    • Ability and desire to thrive in a fully remote team environment 
    • You want (perhaps even need) the excitement, grind, and freedom that comes with an early-stage and fast growing startup

Bonus Points:

    • Proven success at a fast-paced start-up, extra bonus points if in the beauty industry 
    • Experience with influencer affiliate platforms (Impact, ShopMy, etc.) 
    • Event planning and execution experience
