Job Overview: 

We are seeking a creative and experienced PR/Social Media Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a strong background in financial writing, social media marketing, and public relations, who is equally adept at analyzing metrics, video editing, and storytelling. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage public relations initiatives, good management skills, oversee media appearances for key personnel, and coordinate high-profile corporate events.

Key Responsibilities: 

Content Creation & Media Relations: 

  • Write and edit scripts for event videos, promotional materials, and presentations. 
  • Create captivating, finance-focused copy for external communications, including press releases, op-eds, blogs, and social media posts. 
  • Develop and produce high-quality, effective video content that aligns with organizational goals. 

Public & Media Appearances: 

  • Coordinate and book media appearances for organizational leadership. 
  • Prepare key personnel for public appearances, ensuring messaging aligns with our objectives. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and community organizations. 

Corporate Social Media Strategy: 

  • Develop and execute a social media marketing strategy to expand the organization’s visibility on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. 
  • Create and manage engaging social media posts tailored to investors, and the general community. 
  • Use analytics tools to track performance and refine campaigns for optimal results. 

Strategic Relations Management: 

  • Oversee and nurture strategic relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders. 
  • Organize and participate in events to enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation. 
  • Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to align communication strategies with corporate goals. 

Event Coordination: 

  • Assist in planning and execution of investor conferences, media events, and public engagements, ensuring seamless logistics and impactful messaging. 
  • Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional collaboration for large-scale events. 

Qualifications: 

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Finance, Journalism, or a related field. 

Experience: 

  • 3+ years of professional experience in financial writing, corporate PR, and social media marketing, preferably within financial services or capital markets. 
  • Proven expertise in creating and managing corporate social media campaigns and working with regulated industries. 
  • Experience in scriptwriting, video production, and delivering impactful visual content. 
  • Demonstrated success in managing media appearances, public relations initiatives, and high-profile events. 

Skills: 

  • Exceptional financial writing skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences. 
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
