We are recruiting for a Premium and Proportional Treaty Advocate to join our team in London. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both at home and from the office.

What the day will look like

You will be responsible for the handling our Global and Key Client’s Premium and Proportional Treaty accounts. You will fully support both the client and reinsurers in an advocacy role, for your own allocated portfolio and other accounts on an ad-hoc basis, to ensure the efficient movement of funds and resolution of queries.

  • Responsibility for the end-to-end process. Liaising with the offshore team to ensure timely processing of premium and accounts and with the credit control team to facilitate collection and payment of funds.
  • Monitoring and management of unallocated cash and held funds
  • Ensuring regular contact with clients and reinsurers to ensure service requirements are met fully and queries are resolved in a timely manner
  • Support in depth analysis and reporting
  • Conducting Pro-rata reviews
  • Contributing to preparation for and attendance at client meetings
  • Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

  • Promotes and maintains standards; accepts responsibility
  • Experience of processing and submitting XOL Premiums and Proportional Treaty Accounts;
  • Familiar with the use of London Market systems;
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage their own workflow and meet deadlines.
