As a full-stack parking operator, we automate the operation of parking lots and parking garages. We handle everything from advertising to collecting payments from drivers and enforcing against illegal parking. We already operate 250+ parking lots and parking garages across 35 US states and we are growing quickly.

THE ROLE 👩🏾‍💻

As our first Product Marketer, you’ll proactively shape our go-to-market approach, serving as the crucial link between product strategy and the sales tactics that drive results.

You will bring fresh ideas and creative problem-solving to ensure our offerings’ value propositions are compelling and resonate with the right audiences.

Working across all stages of the product lifecycle, you’ll test, demonstrate, and fine-tune each solution’s market impact. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and partner closely with our Sales team to accelerate revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is deeply customer-focused, adept at navigating the commercial real estate landscape, and curious about the competitive dynamics of the parking industry.

As the first Product Marketer at AirGarage, you will need to be someone who thrives in a dynamic, startup environment without having a pre-defined set of directions—someone who can balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is motivated by achieving tangible, meaningful results.

WHO YOU ARE 🦚

  • You have a deep need to understand the customer. You have a data-driven approach and are just as comfortable analyzing behavioral data of our product as you are conducting live user interviews and joining sales calls. You are genuinely curious about what motivates the customer, and you are comfortable challenging existing beliefs.

  • You’re a gifted storyteller with a knack for writing. You can deliver a range of content, from website copy to sales scripts to blogs or newsletters, with ease.

  • You’re a hands-on “builder”. Not only can you create the strategy, but you can jump into execution without missing a beat. There is no one to delegate to within this role, you will be the end-all-be-all for executing product marketing.

  • You enjoy reporting into Product and the exposure to product strategy and its impact on revenue. Marketing isn’t a “hand-off” here; you’re helping chart our next stage of growth without a defined blueprint.

  • You want to work closely with Sales to understand the customer buying journey and find ways to insert collateral, case studies, and other content to positively impact win rates throughout the funnel.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 👷‍♀️

  • Develop a deep understanding of our product and service offerings, including the on-the-ground operational support that sets us apart.

  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Operations to research and analyze our market, gather customer insights, and map the competitive landscape.

  • Define and document detailed customer segmentation and buyer personas, highlighting the unique pain points and needs of our target audiences.

  • Combine storytelling and data-driven approaches to craft messaging, content, and campaigns that resonate and establish credibility with property owners and asset managers.

  • Create collateral that enables our sales team to effectively communicate our value propositions. This can include, but is not limited to, sales scripts, email templates, pitch decks, demo videos, and one-pagers.

  • Bring customer success stories and case studies to life, showcasing our real-world impact and building trust with potential clients.

  • Develop product documentation that clearly explains features and benefits tailored to various Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).

  • Maximize the impact of AirGarage’s product-feature releases by designing and executing go-to-market strategies. Equip customer-facing teams (Sales and Operations) to know what’s coming and why it matters for our customers. Partner with Product to ensure current customers are aware and utilizing features as they’re released.

WHAT YOU NEED 👩🏼‍🎓

  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably within a B2B tech or tech-enabled service environment.

  • Proven ability to drive business outcomes across the funnel

  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective go-to-market strategies and compelling narratives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to take complex concepts and distill them into digestible, relatable, and easy-to understand writing

  • Experience in developing customer segmentation, buyer personas, and sales collateral.

  • Proven track record in a fast-paced environment, ability to drive clarity and decisions, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data and customer insights into actionable strategies.

  • Proficiency with user behavioral data tools such as Amplitude (preferred) to source customer insights.

  • A track record of success operating in environments where you didn't have perfect directions laid out in front of you.
