We are hiring a Revenue Growth Specialist to join our team and ensure that the assigned product or service categories are managed in a way that maximizes revenue and profitability. They analyse sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to drive pricing, promotion, and inventory strategies.

Your Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Revenue Management

  • Monitor and analyse revenue performance for specific categories.
  • Develop strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with pricing teams to ensure optimal pricing strategies.

Category Performance Analysis

  • Evaluate sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Report on category performance metrics such as sales growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Translate market trends and needs into profitable products and concepts, ensuring alignment with goals and objectives.

Promotion and Campaign Coordination

  • Take ownership of the category performance and driving sales machine per day (SMD) growth and ensuring profitability.
  • Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to boost category sales.
  • Align with the marketing team on seasonal or strategic campaigns.

Execution & Inventory Management

  • Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross functional partners to ensure flawless execution of strategy.
  • Ensure category inventory levels are optimized to meet demand without overstocking.
  • Work with procurement and supply chain teams to address supply issues.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

  • Work closely with category managers, sales teams, and financial planners to align on revenue goals.
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and promotional support.
  • Working closely with the Group Procurement lead to develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy.

Commercial, Forecasting and Planning

  • Enhance the competitiveness of the market by providing valuable commercial support, leveraging your expertise to drive growth and success.
  • Contribute to demand forecasting and sales planning for the category.

  • Analytical Skills - Proficient in analysing data and generating actionable insights.
  • Revenue Optimization Knowledge - Familiarity with revenue management tools and techniques.
  • Collaboration Skills - Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain.
  • Communication - Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
  • Attention to Detail - Ensures accuracy in forecasting, reporting, and category planning.
  • Tools Proficiency - Experience with ERP systems, analytics platforms, and category management tools.
