About the role  
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be part of a team reporting into a Business Unit Director, driving the success of your accounts and taking ownership of projects. You are likely to be a key point of contact for clients, taking increased responsibility for the strategic direction of workstreams. The accounts that you would work on will likely be across a range of prescription brands. 

What you’ll do

    • Takes the lead in planning and preparing for client meetings, allocating tasks to other team members and presenting as and when required  
    • Understands and is able to share the agency’s beliefs, values and proposition, and how these relate to the clients’ aspirations  
    • Understands the strategic vision for the brand(s), contributes to and initiates discussions on strategy  
    • Interprets client briefs, identifies and communicates information gaps  
    • Manages client expectations - what is possible, by when, what cost; educates client on agency processes  
    • Able to take a leadership role with agency brand team by supervising the development, execution and production of tactical programs from start to finish  
    • Provides support to business unit director on all accounts and all new business opportunities and pitches  
    • Advises and coaches account executives and account managers to develop potential and contributes to their development plans  
    • Co-ordinates in house team performance to achieve schedules 

About You

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in client services, preferably within a healthcare communications agency 
    • Excellent presentation and writing skills 
    • Passion for healthcare and communications 
    • Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes and rules 
    • Organises own time to achieve deadlines, prioritises tasks within given time frames 
    • Clear communicator, honest and fair with colleagues 
    • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to listen intently and ask in-depth questions to determine client needs, foster trust and build long-term client relationships and partnerships 
    • Strong understanding of the multi-disciplinary approach to client service, and their specific role across accounts and scenarios
