Aon has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Broker to join our Professional Services Team , which forms part of our London Global Broking Centre.

This role will suit a highly-experienced broker, who is looking to step into a Director level position and take on more client and complex placement responsibilities. It involves co-ordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of Professional Indemnity business within the Lloydโ€™s and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis in accordance with Marketing Strategy.

This is a Hybrid role that will involve both office and home-based working.

What the day will look like
  • Review Submission
  • Lead quote broking / Follow market broking
  • Present terms to client / network
  • Firm Order broking (PPL / email)
  • Record broking activity in market sheets
  • Review draft / final MRC
  • Send Cover confirmation to client/network
  • Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients
  • Client meetings
  • Respond to A/C queries
  • Establish and manage pipeline

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • c10 years market broking experience within the Professional Indemnity marketpalce
  • Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • Experience of managing effective client relationships.
  • Ability to structure complex placement programmes with the best client outcomes in mind at all times
  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
