About the Role

cocokind is seeking a Senior Manager of Influencer Marketing & PR to define, develop, and implement robust influencer strategies to drive brand awareness and build a broad reach of advocates across the influencer space. This role is a critical contributor to the overall cocokind organization, responsible for the development and activation of influencer marketing campaigns that build cocokind’s brand awareness and brand distinction. The Senior Manager of Influencer Marketing & PR will report to cocokind’s CMO, oversee three  Associates, and work closely with the CEO/Founder. This is a hybrid position based in the San Francisco Bay Area and will require some travel to Los Angeles or other locations for work events.


What you’ll do:

  • Strategically manage influencer marketing, including relationship management, and holistic influencer programs from identification, through ideation and execution, while aligning with cocokind’s unique and transparent brand identity. 
  • Build influencer and creator partnerships grounded in authenticity, purpose, and community values rather than fleeting trends.
  • Implement the influencer marketing strategy, establishing and nurturing long-term partnerships that align with cocokind’s mission of challenging beauty norms. 
  • Drive initiatives that prioritize education and connection, positioning cocokind as a brand built for real people and real results.
  • Manage the influencer marketing budget effectively, ensuring every dollar aligns with achieving maximum results and impact. 
  • Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of creativity, authenticity, and collaboration, and encouraging new ideas that disrupt the traditional influencer landscape.
  • Monitor and report all influencer analytics regularly - key metrics on engagement, posts, reach, and more.
  • Help ideate and execute influencer events of all types and sizes.
  • Stay informed about current trends and industry changes, contributing to the evolution of influencer marketing strategies.
  • Direct impactful influencer campaigns, ensuring they perform and deliver tangible results.
  • Manage PR agency, ensuring top-tier, impactful placements for industry awards, product launches, and evergreen consumer coverage, ensuring alignment with cocokind’s differentiated voice.


Who you are:

  • 4-6 years of influencer marketing experience and a proven track record of success, ideally within the skincare and/or beauty industry. 
  • You embrace being a disruptor and are excited to challenge conventional beauty marketing norms, creating campaigns and partnerships that prioritize the community over trends.
  • Comfortable breaking away from “how it’s always been done” to create strategies that feel uniquely cocokind—authentic, beneficial, and values-driven.
  • Experienced in identifying and fostering relationships with brand-aligned influencers and creators who share cocokind’s commitment to transparency and honesty.
  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms and how influencer content is executed - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, TikTok.
  • Must have experience working with influencers to negotiate content plans that strategically drive results.
  • Comfortable using various social media analytics tools, such as Tribe Dynamics, to track campaign performance to goals.
  • A deep passion for social media and influencer marketing - you love looking out for the latest creators, trends, and innovative brand executions.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with confidence, fostering strong relationships in the influencer space.
