We are looking for a Senior Manager within Market Development to support the endocrinology portfolio. The role is based in Princeton, NJ and is responsible for activities including but not limited to planning, coordinating and integrating market development activities associated with new product launches or existing products. The role will be responsible for aligning with internal stakeholders and assist in management of external agency partners to move projects within the market development team forward.

This position reports to the Director, Market Development and will be based in the home-office in Princeton, NJ. The position is hybrid, meaning the candidate will be required to report into the office in Princeton, NJ 3 days per week.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Focus on thought leader engagement, speaker bureau scheduling and metrics, and advisory board contracting and logistics management
  • Act as a liaison with market development and internal teams to ensure alignment and effective communication to move projects forward with cross-functional teams – this includes but is not limited to working with legal for contracting, compliance for program and event approval and monitoring, sales for speaker program monitoring, commercial operations for implementing CRM system updates
  • Develop and manage project plans to meet deliverables, including cross-functional project timeline and follow-up with project team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Provide briefs and summaries for project tracking, reporting, and oversight on budget, expenditures, and metrics as well as regularly follow-up with internal and external stakeholders regarding the market development strategic pillars (speaker bureau, insights gathering, and advocacy development)
  • Assist with vendor management and content generation for market development initiatives, speaker bureau management, and insights gathering from inception to approval
  • Responsible for identifying critical project issues and risks, proactively manage project opportunities/issues/risks, including timely communication to leadership
  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, compliance, and SOPs within all activities and functions and incorporate best practices
  • Identify opportunities for operational and process improvement for the thought leader liaisons including speaker bureau, thought leader insights generation and gathering, and advocacy development

  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree is required
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management or marketing required
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales, training, marketing, medical affairs, and/or related area a plus
  • Strong collaboration, communication, presentation, and writing skills required
  • Adept at building effective relationships across various functions and skill levels
  • Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally to complete job responsibilities
  • Detail oriented with exceptional planning, project management, and organizational capabilities
