About the role: 

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, as part of the Carbyne Product team, to lead Carbyne’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy, spearhead our competitive market analysis, shape our narrative, and create compelling internal and customer-facing content that drives measurable business outcomes. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of product management, marketing, and sales, ensuring our solutions resonate with the public safety market and empower the people at the core of emergency response.

You’ll deeply understand customer needs and analyze the customers’ competitive alternatives to deliver impactful messaging and materials that bridge the gap between product innovation and market success. Your contribution will be critical in ensuring we have maximum leverage of our innovative and leading product offerings as we win business with new and existing customers.

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

  • Develop GTM Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive GTM plans for new products and features, including positioning, pricing, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
  • Drive Market Understanding: Help the team to understand customer needs, conduct market research, and perform in-depth competitive analyses, including feature comparisons and pricing strategies.
  • Create Impactful Content: Lead the development of product-specific collateral such as one-pagers, videos, web pages, blogs, and case studies to support customer engagement and sales efforts.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product management, engineering, sales, and customer success to ensure alignment and deliver compelling solutions to market.
  • Enable Sales and Customer Success: Train and equip Sales and CSM teams with the tools, messaging, and insights they need to effectively position and sell Carbyne’s solutions.
  • Measure Success: Analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, conduct regular win/loss reviews, and adapt strategies to improve outcomes.
  • Champion Customer Advocacy: Cultivate relationships with customers to build testimonials, case studies, and advocacy programs.
  • 8–10 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in SaaS or public safety tech.
  • Proven success in developing and executing GTM strategies and launching products, including pricing strategy.
  • Strong skills in crafting compelling messaging, storytelling, and sales enablement materials.
  • Demonstrated experience with competitive analysis, market research, and positioning in B2B markets.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar marketing platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on measuring and optimizing marketing initiatives.
  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach, comfortable in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Desirable qualifications include: Experience in public safety, government, or civic tech markets; familiarity with enterprise sales cycles, RFP processes, and procurement in public sector organizations; knowledge of public safety technologies.

The pay range for this position in New York City is $140,000 - $150,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401K). Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
