Social Media & Influencer Marketing Assistant (4 month FTC)

The Social Media & Influencer Marketing Assistant will assist in the execution of social media campaigns, influencer content partnerships, and online brand initiatives. This position requires creativity, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of digital marketing trends. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media and influencer marketing, with a knack for developing engaging content creation, building relationships and sounding out PR initiatives.

What will I be doing?
 

  • Social Media Management:
    • Assist in creating, scheduling, posting and optimising content across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Linkedin etc.)
    • Help monitor engagement, track key performance metrics and respond to customer inquiries or comments via our community management methods
    • Support the development of content calendars and ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms
    • Collaborate with the design team to ensure content is visually engaging and aligned with brand guidelines
       
  • Influencer Marketing:
    • Research and identify potential influencers and brand ambassadors that align with BrandAlley’s target audience
    • Assist in outreach and communication with influencers, agencies, and partners to foster long-term relationships
    • Coordinate product seeding and campaign execution with influencers
    • Track influencer performance, including engagement metrics and ROI for campaigns
    • Help manage influencer contracts, deadlines, and deliverables, as well as logistics of sending samples and gifting product.
    • Assist in the coordination and logistics of eventing, as well as any ad hoc tasks associated with all of the above
 
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Monitor social media and influencer campaign performance to provide actionable insights
    • Compile reports on social media trends, engagement rates, and influencer impact
    • Track KPIs for social media growth and influencer collaboration effectiveness
 
  • Creative & Content Development:
    • Assist in brainstorming and creating new content ideas that drive brand awareness and engagement
    • Help produce content, including both still and video creative alongside copy, for social media platforms
    • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, influencer marketing strategies, and best in class practices

What you’ll bring…

The good stuff…
 
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
    • Proficiency in social media and influencer management tools is a plus
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other social media analytics tools
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Creative mindset with an eye for design and content creation
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or currently pursuing)
Experience: From Graduate – 2 years of experience in social media management or influencer marketing (internships or freelance work is highly regarded)
