This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Chicago’s West Fulton Market District with a hybrid work schedule.
Position Summary: The Solutions Architect (Sales and Marketing) serves as a liaison between the IT and the Sales and Marketing teams and offers an exciting opportunity to shape the intersection of technology and business strategy, ensuring that the organization is equipped with the tools and solutions necessary for sustained success. This role requires significant collaboration with departmental managers, vendors, industry experts, and executives to recommend and implement enterprise-wide technology platforms.
This role reports to the Sr. Director of Enterprise Applications.
The candidate selected for this role will be accountable to:
· Lead strategic discussions and decision-making processes with Sales and Marketing stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology needs that align with business objectives
· Develop and maintain a detailed technology roadmap, integrating emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and advanced integration techniques to address future business challenges and opportunities.
· Influence enterprise-wide technology strategy and establish organizational standards
· Act as a strategic advisor, translating business requirements into actionable IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.
· Research and apply industry best practices and emerging trends to refine the enterprise technology framework.
· Work closely with IT teams to ensure solutions are designed, implemented, and maintained in a secure, scalable and sustainable manner, in compliance with policies and procedures.
· Lead vendor evaluation processes by soliciting and evaluating vendor proposals compared to defined business requirements.
· Facilitate communication between IT and business teams, ensuring clarity and alignment on project goals, resourcing, budgeting, timelines, and deliverables.
· Present and defend strategic initiatives to executive boards or steering committees, providing updates on roadmap progress, challenges, and key milestones.
· Monitor the performance and impact of implemented solutions, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
We believe the successful candidate will have:
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT solutions management, business analysis, or a related field, preferably within Sales and Marketing environments.
· Strong understanding of Sales CRM and related digital marketing technologies. Preferably Salesforce.com.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and levels of management.
· Experience in resource planning and capacity management.
· Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) is highly desirable, with a preference for SAFe certifications such as SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or SAFe Agilist (SA).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $135,500 in our lowest market up to $167,500 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
